1. DELIGATE– Give each of your bridal party a job to do. This could be prior to the day or on the wedding morning. You could have one person in charge of a playlist. someone’s job could be topping up the drinks. A great idea is, for example, Maid of Honour is the main point of contact. This means any suppliers who need to contact, contact them and then you can enjoy the morning without being on your phone too much
2. DETAILS– When the photographer arrives they will want to do detail shots. For this they will need items such as, shoes, veil, jewellery, perfume, wedding invite and any sentimental items being used in the day. It’s a great idea to have all this ready for them.
3. CREATE THE SPACE YOU WANT- Wedding mornings can be over whelming so when planning your morning don’t succumb to pressure and include things you don’t want. Only have people there that you want. If candles/diffusers help to relax you then have some on in the prep space. If you need some quiet time then turn the music off or go to a room and have time to yourself.
4. PJ PICS– If you want PJ pics and any specific getting ready shots/TikTok videos then make sure you mention this to both your hair and make up team and your photographers. These things need to be considered in the timing’s for the morning.
5. STEAMING– Please please please steam your dresses/outfits before the morning if possible. If not then whoever does the steaming needs to do it before they have their hair and make up done.
